Mission

To provide effective veterinary manpower and expertise, and take part in the improvement and upholding of animal and human health, and wellbeing through veterinary education focusing on practical oriented training and undergoing applied research in the field of veterinary medicine and animal science. To manage the health and disease of animals as well as to ensure the safety of foods and it focuses extensively on the whole chain of food production.

Vision To become center of excellence in food animal medicine (diary, beef and small ruminants, poultry) and in veterinary public health.

Goals

• To create and maintain high quality veterinary training for students via developing favorable learning environment.
