Academic programs

The office of Academic programs Directorate was established with the commencement of the University. The office is responsible to carry out several activities. The major activities are designing of new curricular, revising the existing curricula, supervising the proper implementation of harmonized curricula, organizing timely staff development plan and promotion in collaboration with the respective academic units and the like.

Since its inception, the office has potentially been working on opening different but very important programs, principally based on market assessment and national demand. In line with this, the University has grown the academic programs to 49 under 18 academic units, of which four are newly launched in this academic year. On top of this, post graduate studies in five major fields (Business Management, Public Administration, Animal Production, Plant Protection and Plant Breeding) were launched moreover, we are planning to propose the launching the launching of additional programs both in under and post graduate level focusing on 70:30 students' intake ratios so as to fill the gap in trained manpower and contribute to the national development endeavor of the country.

Up to now, the office of Academic programs Directorate has registered remarkable and magnificent results in launching programs and maintaining quality education. With no doubt, all these achievement were recorded due to our team spirit among all actors, the University's leadership, students, academic and supportive staffs' total commitment, unreserved support of the surrounding community, Non-governmental organizations, and local, regional as well as federal leaderships.
